Horsham hosts a busy calendar of festivals and events throughout the year with something to suit everyone. Autumn leaves reflect the tones of the Wimmera region and see the onset of events and festivals in our busiest time of year, showcasing the region's diversity. The Wimmera Machinery Field Days, showcases the latest development in agricultural technology, machinery and equipment.

Perhaps Horsham's Country Music Festival is more your style with local, state and interstate artist. Or enjoy Horsham's renowned community event Art is...Festival is an annual regional community arts festival offering a diverse program of quality performing and visual arts, workshops and exhibitions. Spring in the region brings you events such as Grampians Classics in Wartook Valley celebrating, classic music, art works, vintage cars and local produce.

Awakenings festival Australia's only regional disability arts festival draws performers and participants from around Australia every October, featuring performing and visual arts that showcase the work of artists with disabilities.

Nati Frinj Festival is a three day biennial arts festival held in Natimuk involving several Australian Art companies that are based at Natimuk. This unique arts festival makes for an exciting and extraordinary event for the whole community to enjoy.

Getting To Horsham

Horsham lies 300 kilometres north-west of Melbourne and 450 kilometres south east of Adelaide, on the main rail and road routes linking Victoria with Adelaide.

The Western Highway is the main artery through Horsham connecting Melbourne and Ballarat in the south-east and Adelaide in the north-west. There is also the Wimmera Highway which connects St Arnaud to the east, Naracoorte in the west and the Henty Highway connecting the south-western areas of Victoria such as Hamilton, Warrnambool and Portland, along with Warracknabeal and Mildura in the north.
