Horsham is a lively city, centrally located in the Wimmera region, with excellent opportunities for shopping, dining, entertainment and accommodation.

Police Paddock is another good place to walk and observe local flora and bird life. Collect maps and flyers from the Horsham Visitor Information Centre. The Wool Factory is a unique, community based project, staffed by people with disabilities, producing some of the world’s finest wool. Guided tours are available. See excellent exhibitions and the fine collection of Australian art and photography at Horsham Regional Art Gallery, and attend live music and theatre at Wesley Performing Arts Centre.
The Makers Gallery is a focus for local arts and crafts practitioners. Horsham’s beautiful 18 hole Golf Course is rated in the top 100 of Australia, with a professional shop and fine bistro. Horsham Racecourse also has excellent facilities and an exciting racing program. In the evening take in a movie at the three screen Centre Cinema, visit a disco or enjoy a meal at one of the many excellent hotels and restaurants.
The warm dry climate is perfect for alfresco dining with a glass of fine wine from one of western Victoria’s many wineries.
